After having four supposedly professional inkjets produced by another manufacturer die prematurely, I am thrilled with this product. It is so smooth and trouble-free, but very fast.

The printer is impressive - for all the reasons I mentioned above. Not so impressive was the condition it was received in. The printer was shipped directly from Epson to my understanding. While the packaging was stout, it was not taped well with the top having just one vertical tape point. This allowed the top flaps to partially open - leaving a gap. Noticeable as soon as UPS dropped it off.

First thing I noticed, the black ink cartridge was gone. All of the ink rships at the top and I could see how it could have easily slid out in this open gap. I figured it was starter ink anyway and not worth repacking and sending it back..ESPECIALLY since Staples said two day shipping and it took 4 days! I just got more ink and put this baby to work. The printer is fantastic. Staples on the other hand... usually the best (I use them for work and home), but this time they let me down. I wonder if they even read these reviews?
