I bought this stand after seeing it at my local staples. Nice and sturdy. Our teenage son is using it as his nightstand. The shelf is perfect size for charging a 17" laptop and his ipad. Top is roomy enough for a clock radio, lamp, fan, headphones, cellphone, and beverage. The legal size file drawer and cabinet are an added bonus for keeping it looking clutter free. We highly recommend this product. Extremely sturdy, manufactured nicely...not cheaply.

functional not fancy

The price wasn't bad, but the quality control left something to be desired. We purchased two of these. For both the predrilled holes for the door hinges were slightly out of place, causing the door to misalign. There was not enough adjustment in the "adjustable" hinges to fully correct for this. Be sure to see one in person, since the pictures do not show just how tacky the laminate looks. That said, the stands hold what we want them to hold at a reasonable price.

Very user unfriendly directions with mainly diagrammed instructions, no written worded instructions. Hinges assembly awful--predrilled holes done incorrectly. I have called customer service and waiting on a callback. The printer stand itself is also quite short.

Looks can be decieving. It has been a while since I have assembled anything. This product is quite difficult to assemble. Some pieces go right together but others are very frustrating. If you are not sure, pay the money to get it assembled by a professional.

Fortunately, this item was a floor model & fit in the trunk of the car just fine.

It was heavier than I had expected. It matches the desk I purchased and the current book cases in my office.

Therefore, everything worked out well. I had gone to Staples as a last resort because the other office company had the sales price on the incorrect item.

Though disappointed - I decided to check out staples since it was approximately one block away.

Everything worked out in my favor !! :)
