This is a great lapdesk. I got this one to replace an older one that had a different type of contoured bottom. It was more like a bean-bag pillow underneath and it was annoyingly noisy, as was the wrist rest. This lapdesk is much better in that regard & I also like how wide it is. I have plenty of room to maneuver my attached mouse.

I do love having this as it keeps the computer cooler and I don't have to worry about leaving it on soft surfaces.

However, the fabric covering the wrist rest began coming loose not very long after I bought it. Also, when I sit in bed using this with my legs extended, the top of it hits my shins as there is not a pad/pillow under the top rim. This is uncomfortable.

Large size easily accomodates lap top comfortably. However, the surface is slick and allows the lap top to slide around. The wrist support is hard and uncomfortable. Padding on back appears to be well sewn. The material on the surface easily collects pet hair. The overall construction appears to be sturdy. It feels quite comfortable while sitting on your lap. Overall, it is a good product but could use some minor improvements. I believe it is best suited for home use in such places as the bedrrom or living room.

            The ledge at the bottom of the tray is designed to stop a laptop or even a book from sliding to the bottom where it is too close to one's body. Unfortunatly, the ledge has a curved edge, so my laptop just slides up and over the ledge.
