This is my 5 year-old's favorite thing to grab and bring when we get in the car. She can practice her handwriting on the lined side, or write and illustrate a story even, using both sides! We sometimes have a difficult time keeping track of the dry erase pens (we needed more colors than just black), but she's learning. Plus, turns out they use a white board in the classroom, so her experience at home reinforces her academic experience and vice versa!

Nice lines for kids to write on. Nice white space on back to draw diagrams, examples or other things. But I am disappointed that dry erase markers don't erase thoroughly ... so the board develops smudged traces of earlier colors which will degrade its usefulness rapicly.
Otherwise, lvoe the price, the size and the lines for kids to write on.

          This was purchased to help my Great Grandson learn to write his name. That mission was accomplished. Now he uses the lined side for letters and number and draws on the back side. I highly recommend this product for young, eager to learn pre-schoolers.
