Waste of money! Deceiving illustration!

When I first saw this board in the store, the illustration looked really good. The writing on the board (on the package) was super dark and was easy to read.

Got it home, and followed the instructions, to a T. This thing is beyond horrible! I'm glad we didn't pay much for it. The marker (pink, which came with our board) does NOT write fluidly at all! You have to write SUPER slow, bear down, super hard and if you don't........the ink does not transfer properly to the board and you have writing that is not legible!

I highly do NOT recommend this board! I had to throw it away. You can not write on it, the same way you would a white board, with a black marker. The white board with black marker - which I have had before, worked GREAT! I thought I'd like a neon with a black board, plus we have a black fridge.......Horrible. My husband tried reading what I wrote on the board and literally, could not make it out!

Don't waste your money. Buy a traditional white board and get any color marker you like - they work great. The black boards with neons, absolutely, do NOT!!!

If you're still unconvinced about whether to buy this item or not, BUY it. Keep your receipt, however. You will be returning it.
