      Family Tree Maker 2012 Platinum is only compatible with Windows XP, Vista or 7.

      However, the company who make this software do also make a version for Mac computers called "Family Tree Maker for Mac 2"

      Currently, we have three versions available of the Family Tree Maker:

      Item: 444408 | Family Tree Maker Essentials

      The Essentials version comes with a 1-month membership to Ancestry.com. This version will allow you to create family books, charts and reports.

      Item: 444397 | Family Tree Maker Deluxe
      http://www.staples.com/Family-Tree-Maker-2012-Deluxe-Boxed-CD/product_444397
      The Deluxe version comes with a 3-month membership to Ancestry.com. It will allow you to create family books, charts, and reports. Additionally, you will be able to learn more about your family history with the Family History Toolkit.
