The wait was longer than I expected when I ordered- a couple of weeks. They were easy to assemble and work fine, but the finish is very shiny. The base and arm don't have some of the nicer details a previous purchase had. I bought two similar lamps from LampsPlus for my parents, and for a few dollars more, they had a much nicer shade and finish. I wish I had gotten them for myself. It's too much of a pain to rebox them- they will find a home in my adult children's apartments down the road, and I will reorder the nicer ones. Swing arms are so useful for reading.

this lamp is not 55" -- it is 59"; it is an ugly fake brass pole -- it does not have any of the detailing shown in the photo -- the cord is so filmsy it tears making the lamp unsafe to use -- the lamp harp does not fit the lamp -- in short --not only is the lamp not as advertised -- it is unsafe to plug in!
