    what kind of filters does this use? How long do they last? What do they cost? Where can I get them?

    • A:

      This air purifier uses the HF-230 HEPA filter and the CF-230 carbon filter. The carbon filter runs about $5 and the HEPA filter runs about $30. Unfortunately, neither are currently available from Staples.com. How often the filters need to be changed depends on your existing air quality - most dusty/dirty environments will obviously need filters replaced sooner than those that have cleaner air. There are filter change indicators on this unit that will let you know when the filters need replacement.
