The mouse pad has a bad musty smell that is still lingering after 1 week. I needed the narrower size to fit the type of Computer station and the size was right. The mouse pad part of the device could be longer but it elevates the wrist to help with pain and that is the reason I bought it.

while the wrist rest is comfortable, the pad is restricting, having a very small area of motion for the mouse, and has hard edges that prevent the mouse from even having the small area that the pad provides

I have one for work and at home. This mouse pad is VERY comfortable, and it doesn't slide on the desk at all. Takes up very little space on desk because it's so small, although slightly larger would be nice.

I was experiencing wrist pain from frequent computer use; this mouse pad + a wrist rest have helped. The wrist support is very comfortable but there is not enough surface area to use a mouse easily. Also smelled really bad for a month, no idea why. That's faded.

I have had several types of these pads and this is by far the most durable and provides the best support. It is large enough so the mouse gets good movement but not too large for my smallish desk. I would buy this again.
