One issue with the bin, is inside behind the front panel, plastic has sharp protrusions which rip your bag when you pull the bag out after its full. Must be careful with that, or you will rip your bag open. Otherwise, the best shredder I've owned and used.

The shredder has a high capacity and shreds nicely. Its use produces a mess of shredded debri out side of the plastic bags provided. The waste cabinet should be larger and designed to hold the bags in place, in order to prevent the mess. This would also prevent get so many warnings that the basket is full (while the paper is only piled up in the middle of the bag). Presently, the bags cover the safety inerlock points and it makes it difficult to put the waste bin into the shredder cabinet properly.

Although the throat may be 9 inches, it is difficult to line up a number of sheets of paper to insert into the shredder.

Much more quiet than I expected. Preforms as described. Bin capacity is adequate, but in general, mfg's could make the bins a bit larger on the mid size shredders.
I have not had to contact Fellowes, but in reviewing other ratings, Fellowes stand behind their products.
Would buy this one again.
