    I LOVE this staple remover! I find it easy to use and I don't have to worry about my children GETTING HURT if they get ahold of it. It is SAFE for my oldest child to use it unsupervised. I cannot say that with the conventional staple removers. I will not buy any other type of staple remover besides the flat staple remover. I cannot stress the safety of this product enough.

    The staple remover I received was not quite like the one in the photo. The one I just got must be a newer version or something. The staple remover I bought a couple years ago looked more like the one in the photo, and had a v-shaped cutout on the tip of the metal part which was nice for prying out stubborn staples. The one they sell now has a smooth tip and it just okay.

      This type of staple remover is far superior to the two - prong type I think. This one works well and is a great deal for the price. As an attorney, I am constantly finding the need to pull out staples for one reason or another and this makes it easy when there are many sheets stapled together

          Claw staple pullers tear the paper badly, this flat puller doesn't!
          I use it to open plastic-wrapped packages (mail), and to clean debris off my boot soles (wife is really picky about tracking things into the house).
          I carry it everywhere I go.
