I use this product to protect my carpet from my rolling chair and it works great. Hasn't dented or dimpled yet or cracked. Nice solid product and yet fairly easy to move and clean.

When we re-carpeted the family room (concrete slab), we bought the chair mat so that the warranty for the carpet would be honored by the manufacturer. Were not excited about it at all. However, it is almost invisible on a beige-tone carpet and is thin enough that you don't notice the difference when you step on it. The desk chair rolls easily on it. Glad we have it now.
