Comments about Floortex® Polycarbonate Chair Mat for Carpet, Standard Lip, 48" x 53":

Typically a budget shopper, I paid a premium for this expensive ([$]) chairmat because my previous one disintergrated in a short time. Initally concerned about the thickness (90.55 mills), it supports the chair well and the wheels do not sink into the surface. The surface is very slick and I fell like I'm sitting on a sheet of ice. The "friendly gripper back" does not hold the mat securely to my short-pile carpet and I have to reposition it every day.
