It seems very nice and neat compared to my old one that cracked. Its bit expensive but if lives up it decription it will worth it.

For reference I weigh 170 pounds. The chair on the mat is used almost daily for 2-3 hours per day. Carpet is low pile. The mat manufacturer replaced the original after 18 months and now the replacement is badly cracked again, an 18 month life for both mats.

Good quality item, thick to prevent cracks, Very durable on carpet, does not sink down.

I ordered these for my Law Firm and after spending the cost of one mat 4 times over on a less exspensive mat I risked being fired for purchasing one out of my price range. My boss loves it, I still have my job, and Im ordering 2 more. You often get what you pay for and these mats are worth every penny. I buy office supplies for my firm and I have seen some big people destroy plastic chair mats the way a dog would gnarl a bone, but not even the toughest toothed pooch could ruin the plastic on these things, they are just that tough. Save yourself the hassle of having to buy another mat in another year or so, and buy a floortex brand. You'll be glad you did. Im just sorry nobody else thought to say it in a review because these puppies are just that great! How can you not like something made from the same materials as bullet proof glass???
