                        You have to put the whole tag through the end of the loop and pull it through to close.

                        It is an enless loop, no openings. I make luggage tags for my bags with them. Once the loop is put into the tag itself I then inset the loop into my luggage handle and need to pass the tag inself through the loop end.

                      I see that these include loops but I need be certain that slots are already cut into the plastic tag, through which to run the loops, or lanyards in my case.
                      I use this type of tag for identification badges. I have lanyards that attach with a small pinch hook but if the holes aren't pre-cut, it's nearly impossible to make a neat cut in the plastic for the lanyard.
