At first I was confused because the cord said 12 feet and I thought that was long for a desk phone cord but I needed one so I ordred it. It turns out as I had hoped 12ft is the uncoiled length so the actual coiled length is only about 1.5 ft. If you need it to be longer coiled than that go with a longer one. Otherwise it plugged in and works can't ask for much else. I was ready to tear my hair out with my old one that kept falling out of the phone.

This product was bought to replace a phone cord that had become tangled after years of use. This cord tangled within one day's use.

I purchased product since I have been satisfied with GE products in the past. Well this time I was highly disappointed when it tangled up into a mess in less then two months. Six to twelve months I can accept. But less then two? GE needs to find a better source to manufacturer products such as phone cords.

This cord is very practical for my desktop phone. The length is perfect - not too long. Now I have great reception on my phone with no static or interruptions. There are no negatives.

We had an employee whose cord raveled so much she couldn't answer the phone. We purchased this cord with a detangler and it solved the problem.
