      I called my cable company to find out how to hook up my fax and telephone line to my modem at the same time. I was told to get a plain splitter so I did. It didn't work! Now I'm not technically suavy but I'm not completely out of the loop either. So I went to Staples and explained my situation and was told to get a splitter with a filter. The gentleman who waited on me showed me the one I needed. Bought it, went home, hooked it up and it worked perfectly! Thank you to the techs at Staples who are always there to help.
