The corded one works even all the cordless ones are out of juice. The speaker function works on both base and corded units. Wish the answering system has longer recording time or allow SD card insert to expand the recording time. Not sure if there is a sound reminder feature when there is new voice message.

Phone system itself works great, but lacks the raw power to send a signal out that we require at our business. For those of you wondering; 1.) Its weak going through any kind of structure away from the headset base. 2.) It will go about 50 yards away from the base unless there is an object blocking the signal.

    When you dial a number the number tone has a long delay like they did on the old antiquated systems. Also, the key boards on the remote phones are not responsive each time numbers are entered and are often missed and need to be redialed. I would not recommend this phone.

    Phones were very easy to set up and directions I found very easy to follow. I do find the unit a little complicated for my simple mind to navigate. I enjoy the intercom feature! Once I became familiar with the unit I have become very comfortable with it. Have had no problems with it, as of yet. Great value for what you get and it fit nicely into my budget.
