After having the provided suction mount fail every time the car was in the sun, I had to replace my mount, or face a broken Street Pilot.

This mount really surprised me. It is very stable and allows me to place my GPS just about anywhere on my dash!

A simple dashboard mount that is easy to place and very simple to remove. The friction base leaves no mark or tell tale sign that a GPS was in the car when removed.

My family and I went on a trip and we used this stand along with our Garmin nuvi® 255W Portable GPS. My kids enjoyed setting it up for the next place. It was so easy that even a child can do it.

This is not what I thought it was. I have the window mount that I bought with my Garmin. I wanted something that will hold my unit on the dashboard of my second car. To do that with this expensive item, I would have to disembowel the original mount first. NOT WHAT I WANTED. I wish I could return it.
