Comments about Garmin nuvi® 1390T Portable GPS:

I had a cheaper garmin than this one and had no complaints. This unit however is a different story.

There is a certain point on my commute where the unit shuts down and restarts continually. It not only makes the unit completely unusable but annoying. Garmin is unable to do a software fix for this and they request I send the unit in (at my expense). I've only had this thing for about two weeks by the way.

The free traffic on this unit is also worthless. It seems to be only calculating about 1 step ahead instead of the multiple turns I need to take on my daily route. Due to this, the "traffic delays" displayed on my unit fluxuates from 5 to 30 minutes. So generally my "arrival time" tends to be wayyy off.

Also when going to use the tech support on garmin's website, they do not specifically even list this unit. So even though ive purchased an addtional MINI SD card to add memory to this unit, there is no information on garmin's website on how to have the unit find what you have installed on that SD card.

Dont' spend the extra money for the features that this unit offers. It's not worth it.
