Q: Is the table top "smooth" or does it have a texture to it? I want to use this for my laptop and "writing" so I want to make sure it has a smooth surface on top. THANKS Asked on 4/27/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The table surface is smooth. Answered on 5/5/2010 by Customer Care from Staples A: It is smooth, but I guess you could say it has a very, very slight texture to it. It isn't "bumpy" or anything, but it isn't perfectly smooth either. I just used a piece of paper and a pen to doodle a bit, and it didn't cause any weird bumpiness in my writing. Q: How much weight will this 4' table support? Asked on 9/14/2009 by Dan from Washington DC Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Dan, I sat on it before putting anything on it and I weigh over 200 pounds and had no problems with it. I use it to hold my desk hutch (weighs about 50 pounds) and I also have a small office refrigerator (about 50 pounds) and a printer on it at all times. It is as stable as can be. Answered on 10/27/2009 by Simply the Best Writing from Sea Isle City, NJ A: I have not sat on it but I am guessing it will hold at least 100 lbs. Answered on 12/30/2009 by John from Reno, NV
Q: About how many will this table sit Asked on 8/11/2009 by Teresa from Gaffney, SC Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Six people for a class that does not demand a lot of writing but the table will have room for the class material. Six people for a coffee break and four - five people for a meal. At our work we have three of these tables to use as side tables for materials or clients. They are very useful.
