I use this chair for 2 to 4 hours a day at my home office. This chair was easy to assemble and is comfortable. The only down fall to this chair so far is the back creaks every so often when you move. This chair is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for when it comes to office chairs.

We purchased four of these over the span of a few years and three of them have gone bad. One has it's frame bent where the seat attaches to the post, so you lean to the left. Another one's cylinder leaks so the chair sinks to the lowest position after a few minutes of sitting in it. And the last one's backrest springs forward when you don't sit in it, and reclines if you lean back at all. The fourth one is fine. The chair that still works properly is comfortable and works well.

Per my phone call with Global, the warranty is 10 years on the cylinder, 5 years on any other mechanism, and I guess a lifetime on whatever is left.
