We've purchased 2 of these over a 3 year period. The person who uses it prefers to use the chair without the provided arms. The first chair came with arms unattached (perfect for us) and went together in less than 5 minutes. We were dismayed to see that the most recent chair came with the arms already installed (good for most offices...just not us.) One of the screws holding the arm on had to be machined off because it was stripped in place.

This is a primary work chair. The high back and adjustable arms make this chair a real bargain. The seat is large and comfortable as well. The chair also fits my work station without being too bulky. There are chairs available that have more adjustments, but not for the same cost. Great buy.
