i had purchased this chair years ago and loved it, the wooden bottom had recentlly cracked when someone sat on my lap so i bought another one.

the new chair is not anywhere as comfortable as the old one was.

the padding is not as thick and is now very firm, also the tilt doesnt go back as far.

i compared the head rest a part of the chair i never used and i do not believe the old chair was ever this firm.

i exchanged it for the marcount, which in my mind is worth the extra money.
