I bought this after seeing a store display and testing it out. The sides of the drawers hold legal size hanging files and no additional hanging folder frames are necessary. My files are already hanging very nicely in the drawers of my new cabinet.[...]Given my experience, I wouldn't be surprised if Frustrated Consumer was not given the right Hon legal size file cabinet, as there seem to be many, and from my experience, they are not well marked. The box in which it was delivered gives no indication of the model#, but it is clearly the same model that I saw in the store and pictured on the website, so I'm sure mine is right.[...].As for the file cabinet, what can I say? It's a file cabinet. It holds my stuff. It's not beautiful, but it's functional. The construction seems to be fine. It is my second Hon, and the first one has held up well for ten years and still going, so I don't anticipate any less from this one.

This simply does the job. It keeps my files in order. However, it's not perfectly aligned. So from a design aspect, it's not perfect when viewed from the front. The base is also not perfect, and that's why it rocks a little when I open and close the drawers.

        we bought over twenty of them. 1 out 5 of the cabinet breaks down within 1 year, the rails for the draw came off the cabinet.

        We cannot switch to other models because the look of the models will be different. That is why we continue to buy to replace the broken ones.
