Won't show level. Software issue?

I've never had a problem with this printer or the ink cartridges before, but I have 2 now (Black and Cyan) that are brand new and won't show the ink level in HP's Toolbox...Read complete review

I've never had a problem with this printer or the ink cartridges before, but I have 2 now (Black and Cyan) that are brand new and won't show the ink level in HP's Toolbox software. Will they fail? Will the printer lockout and refuse to print? Who knows! There are no lights lit on the printer, and it works fine, so this may just be a software issue. As far as a review for the cartridge, which is what I'm supposed to do here, I don't have a problem. They work fine. Great color, etc., they're just expensive as heck. I mean c'mon [$] for ink??? How far away did ya hafta go to squeeze that octopus???Sheesh!

This product sits on the shelf too long and expires too quickly. HP forces you to buy cartridges even when nothing is wrong with it and it is full of ink. They need their money you know!
