I enjoy using this product

I use the printer whenever we take pictures. Which is quite a lot. I have 3 Grandchildren and 4 grown children. I love documenting all occassions. And printing at home even thought is a higher price I like taking the time to do it at home and NOT in front of everyone at a machine in the middle of the store. People are always looking at your photos. Which my photos aren't anything to write home about I don't like people looking at photos of my Grandchildren and making comments. Plus I like to take my time and really look at the photos and crop them etc the way I want and it the store most of the time I feel rushed. That's why I purchased this machine. I am very glad that I did.

Great because it is immediately available for prints - not so great that we don't get as many pictures as it seems we should

Q:
Is the ink cartridge larger in this package than if I were to just buy HP 110 ink alone? According to the specs for HP Photosmart A646 one 110 ink cartridge is only good for 15 4"x6" photo prints...which would mean that I'd need to buy 7 more 110 cartridges to use all the paper in this package. Does that seem right?

  That is crazy I get at least 120 photos out of one ink cartridge. Sometimes more depending on the pictures.I have used this printer, paper, and cartridge for over 9 years. I have done about 30 scrapbooks. I love this product.

  I don't know if HP publishes the # of ml (milliliters) of ink in the package, like they do on some of the other individual cartridge ink retail items. But we have purchased some of the standalone 110 ink units and they do not last as long as the cartridge in the value pack (more like 50 or so pictures if I recall correctly); whereas the value pack ink cartridge usually lasts well over 100 pictures provided you aren't printing lots of things dominated by one color which will cause an unbalanced use of the inks in the cartridge.
