What I enjoy the most about the HP Printer is that when the cartridge is getting near its "end" point, you know exactly how many pages of printing you have left. I've found that even the very last page is still as clear as the 1st & that is an impressive product. However, the [$] price tag doesn't induce the customer to buy more than one & rarely have they been on sale. On sale to me would mean a good chunk of $, at least $30 off. If you had a sale like that, then I would be induced to buy more than just one cartridge. These ink cartridges keep well & don't dry out. They're extremely easy to insert/remove and without ink particles getting all over you. All in all, a very decent product that will keep me as a customer. The recycle program is another excellent inducement to the customer. You bring back your ink cartridges to the STORE & receive a $ discount directly to your account. No waiting for rebate checks, no scams, no problems. This program is a great idea, but would probably do better if it was advertised more. Put up posters near the printing sections of the store, reminders at the registers, notes on the advertising flyers would do the trick.

My HP Color Laser Printer cost me around $400 when I bought it with my MacBook three years ago. I have to replace all four (one Black, three color) cartridges once a year. They cost more than the price of a new printer. Around $249 for three color and [$] for the black toner. Because I am environmentally conscious I don't want to replace a working printer and add to the dump pile of computer equipment.
Product is outstanding. You really can't go wrong with original HP cartridges. But you can find cheaper online. Staples does have lower in store prices than [@], so they are good in a pinch. But buy this is elsewhere online to save money. If your printer needs all four cartridges, just buy a new printer. It is cheaper in the long run.
The true HP Toner is definitely much more expensive than the Unauthorized stuff, but it works. I had picked up this used printer and it had the unathorized (pirate) toner cart init. The result was Cyan toner all over the transfer belt. As soon as I put in the true HP Cyan Cartridge, the problem cleared up. The bottom line is, NO ONE makes toners like the original manufacturer, so beware of going for the cheap stuff

Q:
My HP Color Laserjet 1600 has printed beautifully for three years. The Cyanne ink is not streaking through all the pages when I print a document. Is that a problem with the cartridge or a larger problem with the printer?
Your inquiry is specific and would be best resolved by the manufacturer. They will be glad to help with your question. You may contact them by phone at (800) 334-5144. Thank you for your inquiry.

Q:
When I tried to order the HP Q6001A Cyan Toner Cartridge by HP it brought up another order #on the box (124A) and it says for use with a color laserjet CM1017mfp; my color is a 1017mfc. Is this the same product that I've always ordered and will it work in my 1017MFC printer?
