Once you've used a toner printer you will say "SO LONG" to ink jet. The quality is absolute, my documents have never popped like they do when using toner based printing and NO MESS... Granted, toner is expensive and I seem to go through a cartridge very rapidly, however, if you do the math sheet for sheet the price for ink vs. toner is about the same. The bonus is the quality, it can't be beat. Once you have a laser printer do a couple of things when selecting toner #1 NEVER BUY REFILLS OR COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES, always stick with OEM. #2 Be patient and wait for sale and reward programs, you can save a lot of cash and get toner at bargain prices. #3 set your printer to specific print jobs, don't just default everything. The black is so sharp with toner you can actually print in grayscale and save those color cartridges.
