This monitor worked well with my old computer and is a great monitor, but it will not pick up the video signal from my new computer even with an HDMI to VGA cable.

I went from a heavy Dell monitor that was about 15 years old. It worked great but times have changed and I got a new HP computer and I wanted a monitor that matched. I'm realy glad I did. The lightweight slim monitor with it's vivid color is the way to go.
