I haven't seen better reproduction of photos. The ink dries fast and lasts a long time. I only wish they had a gauge of some type to let me know when I am low on ink. I print a lot of photos and the cartridges last almost exactly one year. Friends with smaller ink cartridges go through a lot of cartridge changes in the same time period.

haven't yet seen any difference from the standard HP replacement cartridge....other than the box. I would much prefer a simple package

The number of pages the cartridge prints is less than advertised. In fact the last cartridge didn't print at all.

8000 square inches

This product (HP23 ) desk jet cartrage is TOTALY AWSOME. i charted the number of square inches of color output from this cartrage and found 8000 square inches running of 4X6, 5X7 and 10x12 prints. Due to my curious nature I ran the same kind of test with one of hps compediters. This cartrage put out 800 square inches and then the little picture came onto my comp screen showing the printer out of ink. Yes I am using a deskjet 882c & will continue to use this printer.

HP products work well. You need to keep the head clean using your printers cleaning menu or removing the cartridge every so often and small dab of alcohol on a swab. Wait for when Staples runs their sales, then it is a very good buy.
