Poor color quality

I would not recommend this product. HP is usually a winner, but the poor color quality is a big miss.

Purchased two of these monitors for my home office that I work 10 hours per day. Crisp text, bright colors and quite accurate. Replaced two aging 20" Hanspree LCD monitors. These were so much brighter I had to turn them down a little. The two together use less energy then just one single old LCD. Whith the extra size I can put two documents per screen on each monitor which speeds up my day and cuts my work time down. They only downside is it can not be mounted with a wall mount but I knew that when I made the purchase.

At first there was a black border around the edges. Looked up tech support, but didn't fully explain the steps to take to remedy the problem. I kept trying things and finally got it adjusted to be full screen.

  The HP 2511x 25 LED Monitor does not have a VESA standard mount to enable it to be mounted on a wall using a standard monitor mount. There are third-party mounts available, but they are not approved by HP.

  The height listed is for the monitor with the stand. The monitor without the stand is 12.2 inches high and 21.7 inches wide. I'm sorry; the stand cannot be removed from the monitor. This monitor can be mounted on the wall.

  LED.. you can tell by the monitor thickness, in-line power supply/transformer, and back lighting. LED is newer and uses less power. LCD has been around a while and generally IMHO has better color saturation.
