I'm using this monitor beside a 4-year old 22" LCD to extend my desktop, connected to my laptop via HDMI. The picture quality is outstanding. The monitor is very thin and it generates almost no heat. I'm considering purchasing another HP 2511x to replace the 22" which is considerably heavier and bulkier and generates much more heat.

I need to display multiple librarian Apps and sequencer Apps for 8 Synthesizers that are in use and coupled together through remote midi. The screens that I used before (4)of them, I had difficulty reading, poor definition .
With the new Large screen it has a small footprint,
Very Sharp image, 1080 HDMI, it is very thin, light weight, nice large screen,, I can fit all 8 apps on the screen, being able to see at a glance while playing the keyboards... ASK ME IF I LOVE THIS PRODUCT...... YES !

This is an Awesome monitor!, It's better then my 4 other 23 and 24 in Samsungs which are good but not as impressive as this HP 2511x.

I previously used a 32" TV as a computer monitor so clients could see quotes easily. I have found the 25" to provide ease of visibility and it takes a lot less space on my desk.
