Had to replace 305A black cartridge after only 1256 pages printed when should get around 2200 pages. In other words, I only got 57% of the printed pages I should have received before needing to replace the cartridge. I'm on the second black cartridge now. It has printed 264 pages and shows 700 more remain. So again looks like will only get around 1000 pages. Like the HP LaserJet 300 color MFP but print cartridges need to be replaced too often and are expensive. Should note that cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges appear to be near spec. Please HP, FIX the Black Cartridge problem. Get it near specifications.

This is very easy to install. The catridge life is not very long.

not messy at all to install. Not hard to take out of the machine to replace the new one. It is kind of pricey but that is the only kind my machine takes. just shop around. The colors when printed are bright and looks like you just got it off a press. thumbs up!!

Better to use original HP ink. You dont have to worry whether you are getting a defected cartridge. If something does go wrong you can easily return it to Staples for a replacement. The print quality is excellent. The new HP printers make it easier to replace the cartidges. In the 30 years I have run my business the HP ink cartidges have always been reliable. I did stray and bought replaceable cartidges one year but paid the price of them being defective and ruining the copies I was making. You may think you are saving money but at the end you suffer.
