Comments about HP 38 Light Gray Ink Cartridge (C9414A):

The hp 38 inks for the HP 9180 Pro printer (takes 8) are expensive. That wouldn't be so bad (two refills will buy you another new printer) except that when not in use the printer cycles every now and then and uses ink to keep the print heads clear. It also takes advanced paper but will give you, so the ads say, a 200 year life with proper care.

That said, the prints are exceptional.
