Cool color - Reliable and Compatible

I use these discs for business and also for personal needs. I transfer my professional HD videos from Mini-DV to computer hard drive to disk. One copy is sent to post-production and one or two copies are archived, along with the actual tapes.

I create galleries of photos for business, family and community on disks, which is a good method of distribution. These are also good for archiving images, music and data, although I feel CDs and DVDs are relatively fragile. I recently purchased two 500-GB external hard drives, and plan to back up my data, photos, movies and music on these, using two for redundancy.

Picture freezes and frequent pixilation on several different DVD players. Other media I have used (Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Sony) do not have these problems.

The first three out of five disks had "wrong formatting" error messages when used on a pc. The next two worked ok, but very, very slow. The next two disks were used on a DVD TV recording unit and worked fine.
