HP Cartridges are just plain too expensive, and they are not getting any cheaper. Playing the "return the empties", and the "Staples Rewards" game help, but they are just that...games.

HP has apparently enforced their demands that Staples does not carry their own "Refill Brand".

The plus side is that the cartridges do work reliably, and spare us the clogged jets and leakage problems.

The HP Deskjet is used on my home network. Three computers use it for printing. I do think the cost is a bit high. I may have a different idea after I see how long the cartridge(s) last.
