The only other DVDs I've used besides these were RWs, so its not a very fair comparison. These DVDs work great though. I've been creating DVDs of my favorite TV shows. Depending on the video quality, I have been able to fit up to six (6) twenty-minute episodes on a DVD. These DVDs have shown consistent quality and I have not experienced any errors during burning thus far. My only complaint is that the front surface is a little busy and doesn't lend itself to a handwritten label.

I have wasted 10 DVD's out of the 50 and out of those 10 I have made, only 2 have worked. I do not have my recipt to return the [*] product. The surface area of the non-data side is very busy with corporate logos, etc, It made it very difficult to write on the surface about the contents of the disc.

Comments about HP 50/Pack 4.7GB DVD+R, Spindle:

Very rare for me to get a Bad disc burn on this product. Other discs I might get one bad burn for every 3 to 5 burns. With these HP's and the Sony's I might get 1 or 2 per pack of 50. They also have worked in every DvD that I have used so far.
