I use my printer for my home office - and must print reports several times a month, as well as print checks for our companies. I have not had any issues with the ink cartridges. The ink dries quickly - and produces crisp lettering and photos. Additionally I have printed our Christmas newsletter at home - including pictures. HP ink does the job. I will be disappointed if the multi-pack is discontinued since it is always handy to have a replacement cartridge on-hand - and any savings is a good thing these days.

I use the HP 56 at work (middle school/high school - classes and extra curricular)and at home. I someitmes think it is expensive until I look at what it costs to take something somewhere and have it professionally color printed. I print posters, handouts, brochures, my own letterhead, business cards and much more. The idea of the double pack is good except that the colored ink my printer uses is not usually dfoubled with the 56. I am not sure why. I like returning my cartridges and getting money back as well.

What I really like about these cartridges is that I can print in the "Fast Draft" mode using the black cartridge only, and get great sharp pages for weeks before I have to upgrade the printing mode. By using the "Fast Draft" mode, I get dozens more pages than advertised by the manufacturer.
