This is a new printer for me. I recently used it on my second project that involved printing a birthday invitation on glossy 4x8 paper. The print quality was fantastic. The dry time was wonderful, my only complaint is that the ink was completely gone after 40 invitations. It would be one thing if I was printing full size pages but just over shapshot size I think it went WAY too fast. Eventhough this is a new printer for me I've owned HP Printers for the past 15+ years. I am used to this calaber of printing. I just wish the ink would last longer. I'm starting to feel a bit ripped off. - You should add a "Maybe" on the "bottom line", If I had to recommend one way or the other I would say yes however I would warn them about the ink going so fast.

I loved my HP Photosmart D7360 Printer which used the 02 ink cartridges. The colors were clear and bright and the 02 individual ink cartridges ($9.99) lasted longer than the tri-color cartridges. I would only replace the ink that was low.My new HP photosmart D7560 uses the 564 ink cartridges which were the same price as the 02, however the 564([$]) ink cartridges don't last as long. To print the same amount of pictures as the 02 cartridges I have to purchase the 564XL ($18.99) cartridges which are 2x the cost!I was very disappointed that with the newer model's standard ink cartridges now have less ink and the color is not as vivid. HP printers have always performed well for me the the cost and volume of the 564 have been a disappointment!

      All the ink cartridges like this that go in this printer run out very quickly with very little use. This printer is a money pit! It's almost like the printer refuses to say it's full b/c as soon as you replace one cartridge it will flash a message saying another is empty that wasn't empty prior to replacing that one. If it don't do it right then it will definitely do it by the next day. And several times on the XL cartridges it would just stop printing with what looked like on the info screen at least half of a cartridge of ink left. When this printer dies there will have to be some real thought into the next printer purchase.

      I am a frequent user of this type of ink as it is what my printer requires. I use in for personal inventory of books, antiques, records updates and for our craft business. I am constantlty printing out lists and photos for my log books. I also print out a lot of information from the computer as well as e-mails and photos from friends. I do a lot of letter writing and I print out all my letters using the printer which uses the 564 ink. I use it for a lot of things and the printer and the ink have always done a successful job for me. I use nothing but HP products for my printing needs.
