The price per cartridge for the XL (extra large amount of ink) is "okay" -- but I am not getting anywhere near the 750 advertised pages. I do a lot of photographs and clip art which admittedly uses more ink than the printed word. I get, perhaps, 150 photos (4 x 6 inches) with a set of cartridges. The printer uses 5 different color cartridges (and the black cartridge costs double the color cartridges) -- thus buying all 5 cartridges costs in the "low 3 digits". [...] The cartridges produce great images. The cartridge package has been redesigned ... see photo. The new package is on the left.

          I want to replace printer cartridges 564XL (black), and 564 in yellow, blue, black, pink. In my printer 564XL is in a container twice the width of the colors, but I see you sell high yield in the colors as well. All my color containers are narrow. My question: Is high-yield toner packaged in the smaller containers or are they wider, like the black. If they are wider, all four will not fit in the printer. Thanks.

            Highly likely the black 564Xl is the color most in demand, when taking the ratio of print documents compared to color documnts (& photos -- even black and white) into consideration. Buy all colors in the same proportions (either ALL XL or All regular) You might find that the ink levels run low at about the same rate. Strange -- but true? ;)
