I don't know if it's true for all cartridges, but HPs just seem so expensive. Especially when the 70 series seems to drain so quickly.

I will only buy the XL versions of these cartridges from now on. There is no practical reason that anyone should ever get a plain 74/75 cartridge except as a "starter" cartridge!

    These cartridges have a very short life and do not meet the performance that they are advertised to have. As an example, the 75x was suppose to do 750 pages and I doubt that it did 200.

        Haven't done any photos but everyday printing is crisp and clear. The cartridges are easy to replace but don't seem to last as long as the cartridges on my last printer.
