I use the product for all printing jobs, invitations, parties, announcements, flyers, letters. The print is always clean and clear, I don't have to buy as often because the ink cartridge lasts a long time. The only thing i don't like is opening the packaging, it's really difficult. If the mfg.would change the packaging to something less , perhaps they would be able to lower the price which is also very expensive.

I use the extended hp black ink cartridge in an hp fax and printer. The printer is used sparingly to print documents requiring colored text or highlighting. The extended ink cartridge, as well as the hp color ink cartridges, run short of ink quickly. I see no benefit in purchasing hp ink cartridges to generic ink refills. Both seem to last the same amount of time without a noticeable difference in appearance. The generic ink cartridges, however, are much less costly than the hp cartridges with or without Staples credit when returning the used hp cartridges. I tried the hp cartridges several times to see if a fluke, but they consistently put out less ink than generics. So, back to generic ink cartridges. Sorry Staples, we tried.
I have the K8600. Will the ink cartridges dry up if I print only occaisionally? Should I remove them between printing jobs? If so, what it the best way to store them?
The ink will dry up eventually. Your ink cartridge should have an expiration date on it. I would suggest against taking the cartridge out, the seal at the bottom where the ink comes out could leak.

My printer is saying that cartridge K needs to be replaced. Is this the cartridge I would use?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide technical support here, and would hate for you to purchase an item you don't need! Please call HP at (800) 474-6836 for assistance locating which cartridge needs replacing!

i cannot figure out how the 88XL cartridge will work in a HP L7680 printer. It seems physically different than the 88 series cartridges. Any help available for this?
All the XL Cartridges work great. I have a 7780 printer and I thought the same thing. Now all I buy are the XL cartridges. Just put them in the same as the smaller ones. They will should fit fine. I had to try it to believe it.

Q:
New ink was installed last week and it was printing fine but all in a sudden it has an alert saying that my ink is missing or damaged, which the ink is still full & in place, I replace it with a new ink, it started to work again, but put the last one back into it, it said it is an empty ink. This happened on different color inks several times. Is there any solution? this wasted a lot of ink & Money which I did recycle it when it was still full.

1.It's possible that the date on the cartridge had expired and the seller didn't take it off the floor. 2.It's also possible that your printer cannot run without one of the cartridges which might be empty. 3.The cartridge may not have been inserted properly.
