I send out newsletters via internet and also snail mail to many people in a Scottish society. I also am involved in writing a novel, and find that this new 901XL High Yield delivers exactly what it advertises. It surpasses the other ink cartridges I've had in the past, and I'm pleased with the amount of printing I'm able to get on one cartridge. I also print photos to include in the newsletters and also for my photo albums, and I'm pleased.

I like that the 901XL black ink cartridge saves me changing cartridges all the time, but I dispute the number of pages it produces.... A yield of 700 seems a stretch to me. It is supposed to yield 3x what the normal cartridge provides. Yet for the convenience, and the price difference I continue to buy it. Would love if they made the color cartridge in XL. I still stand by HP's quality though.
