I love the combo pack but would really like to be able to get a total high yeild pack for all 4 colors. Or at least a combo on the 3 colors that could be purchased separately from the black high yield for the purpose of photo printing. I would also appreciate lower pricing

Unfortunately, these ink cartridges don't last very long for this model printer. Another HP printer I owned several years ago had ink cartridges that lasted much longer with the same amount of use. The printer is fairly good quality, and I like having a 3-in-one printer. However, the cost involved with keeping the cartridges supplied is too high.

That, and when the color ink runs out, the printer does not automatically switch to producing greyscale copies; it just prints in red/odd colors and then not at all. The black 920XL cartridge is much larger than the color 920 ink cartridges. In order to continue to use the printer in greyscale, I have to go in and manually set the printer to greyscale print for every document.

Finally, it is a very noisy and slow-to-get-ready-to-print printer. It seemingly has to go through many mechanical processes in order for it to get ready to print a document.

Overall, very inconvenient, too costly, and too slow. I will not purchase this model printer again.

    You will be unable to determine original from copy when using this superb ink. Highly recommend to students and small business users. Lasts for several months and extremely satisfied with this product. This ink does not leave you with a wet page as previous inks we have used.

    Color inks were not completely full. After installing them color quality was not great so I used the "clean" feature on the printer. When done the ink level went down to half. I called HP and they said that was normal after cleaning the cartridges.

      I have used HP Printers for a number of years now, and I have always found the printer cartridges to be of exceptional color quality. Also, the cartridges are longer lasting than other brand cartriges that I have used in the past. Great Job HP!!! I always purchase my HP Printer cartridges from Staples now, due to the fact that the store is conveniently located to my home. I am also quite pleased that I am able to get several dollars credit for return of each used cartridge while at the same time supporting the recycling of these cartridges. Thank you Staples and keep up the great work!!!

          The amount of paper sheets you can print is directly related to what you are printing and varies greatly by amount of text and images as well as digital quality; as such, there is no real way to give a precise number without knowing your printing habits.

          Yes, you are correct. This combo package includes one 920xl black cartridge and one standard yield cartridge of each color.

          You do have the option to purchase the color cartridges in high yield, however, they are not available in a combo pack. I apologize for the inconvenience.
