Since the majority of work I do is in black ink on white paper, I wish the black cartridges held more ink. I wish they gave you a warning about low ink, like another manufacturer does. I've been in the middle of important documents and had to run to the store to buy black ink to finish. It's more difficult to figure when the color will run out because of the mix. At one time my paperwork had a lot of blue in it, so the cyan was depleted before the other colors. Even though it is more cartridges for another manufacturer, it's sometimes better to have separate containers of each individual color. I just happen to like my multipurpose HP unit so I have to make allowances.

    HP 95 color cartridge has been very tempermental with many times showing low toner when the cartridge was just installed. I have purchased from other companies for this cartridge with no issues. Maybe some of the products have been on the shelf too long? I purchased it at the store in Ellicott City, MD

            I would not use any other. I have a large family. I have some very old pictures of my grandparents' weddings taken in 1907, that I scanned into my computer, printed and then framed them. I used the COLOR CARTRIDGE to print these "Black and White" professional photos. I have printed PHOTO albums of my grandchildren to share. I am a retired teacher and I have used these CARTRIDGES to make charts, graphs, and brochures for "Presentations." As a free lance author, I have printed up copies of my books to keep and to submit for publication. As an artist, I take pictures of my watercolor paintings and print them and frame some smaller versions of my larger paintings. I give them as gifts and print some on my "Letters."

            The color cartridge contains yellow, cyan, and magenta. Not all printers have individual color tanks, and use the tricolor cartridges.
