This ink goes a long way for me

I use my HP Officejet Pro 8000 about once every day or two. This ink does not require constant cleaning of the printheads, like the Photosmart printers did. Therefore, the ink cartridges last for a long time and are more economical. I like the way it prints photos, but do not have any means of saying how long the photos will stay nice.

Ink evaporates - way, way too expensive!

The only disappointment with the HP 8500 printer is the color cartridges. I rarely use color for my business, yet the ink evaporates, which forces me to buy new cartridges since the printer will not operate without them.

THIS IS A TERRIBLE MONEY GRAB BY HP. I REFUSE TO RECOMMEND THE OTHERWISE FINE PRINTER BECAUSE OF IT.

Replacing cartridges is expensive. I have purchased multipacks so I can be cost effective; however, I have had printers die on me and then I am left with unused cartridges that never fit the replacement printer.
