I am an author/writer. I use this product when printing out manuscripts, forms, and a newsletter for a non-profit organization I belong to. The color is blue and that's the only good thing I can think of. It's an ink tank as opposed to a refillable ink cartridge. Considering how much ink is in this tank and the price involved there must be pure gold in it though I have never found any. You would do better purchasing a printer that does not require such an expensive ink.

        I've tried other inks and stores, but they don't measure up to the conveniance and deals I've gotten from Staples. Wth Staples HP inks I not only get the best results, and best price, but I'm rewarded for the money I spend. I get a choice of weekly discounts,plus credit for turning in my old cartridge, and credit toward my next purchase, without any restriction on what I want to buy. With HP inks I know I'm getting the best quality ink available for my HP printer. It's easy and safe to install, and woun't cause any damage to my equipment,like some others I've tried.The prints are neat and clean, and so is my printer.

              A:

              Sure, look in the Staples site and it will show you what to use with what printer. I believe that there are cartridges which offer 2200 copies as well as a smaller number for black ink choices.
              This has been true with my earlier printers and it just depends on your usage of ink whether you are better off with the larger or smaller. I go through ink very quickly so I go for the largest but a slower user of ink might want to be more thrifty. Some business users might get the large cartridge in black but small in colors if most prints are all text with few pictures. This is a long response for a small but important issue.
              It is significant to enjoy the fact that you will not be plagued by frequently replacing ink cartridges and annoying stoppages during printing now that you have made the investment in a great printer.
