Having retired from banking 10 years ago ( age now 82) , I do personal accounting and observations ( and a few pictures ) for friends upon request. My i MAC with HP printer # 2610 do great. I fact, replacing the cartridges when needed using my 'older fingers' is absolutely an easy thing to do and clean as a whistle. However, due to their 'cost' which is 'seriously high' , I am considering using competitive cartridges. During the past 5 or 6 years the competition's quality has is immensely better and HP has not recognized any reduction in their cost to meet competition.

HP makes good stuff but they are way overpriced - and if they don't drop the prices of their ink - I'm going to start looking elsewhere for my ink - there are a LOT of companies out their that make HP compatible cartridges - some better than others - HP has tried to 'lock out' these - better valued players by putting a chip in their stuff - which to me violated the SHerman Anti-trust Act.... Bottom line - is HP is killing the golden goose - and hurting their reputation with these high ripe-off ink prices !!
