We knew it didn't have a manual feed, but for us, that was ok. Our other laser printer that needs one, has one. It wasn't worth paying that much more just for a manual feed. This printer is for daily use and for color brochures and our other color needs.

Saw this advertised at a special rate in the shopping cart. On impulse I purchased it. Then I read a few of the reviews where users had trouble with it and Vista. I was apprehensive about whether it would be okay. [...] I followed the instructions for setup on the first computer (xp) and it worked great. I then shared the printer and my laptop (vista) and other desktop (xp) linked up with it without a hitch. I'm very relieved and extremely happy with this purchase. It only takes a few moments for it to warm up and print after it has sat overnight. It's a laser printer, of course it beats the best of the inkjets. It doesn't even compare. If the usual reliability of HP lends itself to this printer, then I made a great purchase.

I waited past the 14 day return period, otherwise the Brother printer whould have been my preference. This printer is a turtle when it comes to speed. Takes longer to warm up, and caliberates itself whenever it pleases...disturbing me when I am sleeping. It is the default printer, but right now, this baby has bluntly refused to communicate with the computer. Maybe I need to buy her some flowers

Spent over a week dealing with HP customer service and the manufacturer of my motherboard trying to figure out why this piece of garbage wont work with my computer!! Installed fine, says its ready, computer recognizes that its there...but when I try to print, EVERY TIME I get "error-printing". If anyone has any tips, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise its going back where I bought it and getting something else
